Halibut
 We fish for these big “monsters of the deep” mainly in late winter and early spring from February to May.
The area we prefer to fish is approximately an hour ride west of Sooke Harbor to an area known as Jordon River. Over the past few years numerous halibut over 200 lb plus have been landed in this area. You’ll have a great chance to catch a halibut over 100 lb if the tides, the bait and the fishing luck are with you.
